Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PhinHub (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent, fan-built Miami Dolphins community website. PhinHub is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Football League (NFL) or the Miami Dolphins. We can be reached at joeytejedo@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data. When you sign up we collect your email address, username, and avatar configuration.
• Content you create. Forum posts, replies, reactions, pick'em selections, and other contributions you submit.
• Usage data. Pages viewed, features used, login timestamps, and broad device information (browser, operating system, approximate region).
• Payment data. If you subscribe to Phinhub Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card number. We receive a subscription identifier, billing status, and the last four digits of your card.
• Cookies and local storage. Required for login sessions, theme preferences, and audio settings. See section 5.

3. How we use information

• To operate, secure, and improve the service.
• To authenticate you and personalize your feed.
• To enforce community guidelines and prevent abuse, spam, or fraud.
• To process subscription payments via Stripe.
• To show advertising and measure ad performance (see section 6).
• To send service-related emails and optional push notifications.

4. Legal basis

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies, we process personal data under the following legal bases: contract (to provide the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the service), consent (for non-essential cookies, push notifications, and certain advertising), and legal obligation (to comply with applicable law).

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

• Essential. Authentication sessions and security. These cannot be disabled.
• Preferences. Theme, audio, and onboarding state.
• Analytics and advertising. First-party page view tracking, and third-party ad cookies set by partners listed in section 6.

6. Advertising and third parties

PhinHub displays advertising to support the free portions of the service. Third parties we work with may include, depending on the features enabled:

• Google AdSense may serve personalized ads based on cookies and your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
• Hard Rock Bet and other sportsbook partners. If you click a sportsbook promotion, the partner may set its own cookies for affiliate attribution and is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Fanatics and other merchandise affiliates. Clicking a product link may pass an affiliate identifier to the merchant.
• Stripe for subscription billing.
• Supabase for authentication and database hosting.
• Vercel for application hosting and edge delivery.

7. Children

PhinHub is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at joeytejedo@gmail.com and we will delete the account.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email joeytejedo@gmail.com.

9. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Forum content you posted may remain visible after account deletion in an anonymized form to preserve conversation context. You can request full deletion at joeytejedo@gmail.com.

10. Security

We use industry-standard transport encryption (HTTPS) and rely on Supabase and Stripe for hardened authentication and payment infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of PhinHub after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
