Brian Flores is excited to see Miami again. The Vikings DC coached the Dolphins from 2019 to 2021, and this week he gets them in Minnesota. He says he still has a lot of people in that building he's close with, and he called Miami's support staff one of the best in the league. No revenge talk from him. We'll see if his defense feels the same way. Does Flores have a plan for Malik Willis? 🎥 FinsXtra / ESPN Phins Up 🐬

The Dolphins defense isn't a scheme problem, it's a personnel problem. That's Marcel Louis-Jacques' take on The Phinside Report. Man or zone doesn't matter if nobody gets to the quarterback. Play more man with no pass rush and you're asking to get beat deep, especially against a QB who can scramble. The Fins still don't have a sack this season. Is it the call or the guys? 🎙️ The Phinside Report with Marcel Louis-Jacques & Reason, @PhinsideTheNFL Phins Up 🐬

Jordyn Brooks was mad Jacob Rodriguez didn't score on his pick against the Chiefs. Brooks says he threw a block and they had daylight. "All he had to do was break one tackle." He was joking, and right after that he called it crazy athleticism and said he's proud of where the rookie is headed. That's the vet you want next to a rookie LB. Should Jrod have taken that one to the house? 🎥 @TheListFinsPod Phins Up 🐬

Marcel Louis-Jacques isn't buying Tony Pauline's report that Dolphins defenders are complaining about the scheme. His point to Reason on The Phinside Report is simple. This defense is full of first and second year guys, and he can't picture one of them running to a reporter about it. Nobody in that room thought this year was 12 and 5. Pauline reported that some players privately want more man coverage. Marcel isn't saying nobody talked. He's saying whoever did doesn't know what they're talking about. Who you got, Marcel or Pauline? 🎙️ The Phinside Report with Marcel Louis-Jacques & Reason, @PhinsideTheNFL Phins Up 🐬

Aaron Rodgers went off on Mike McCarthy on the Steelers sideline during Thursday's 27-24 loss to the Browns. Cameras caught Rodgers yelling at his head coach. McCarthy said after the game he regrets how the exchange went. Pittsburgh's offense couldn't get anything going and Cleveland walked it off. Is this a one-night thing or the start of something? 🎥 @MLFootball / Prime Video Phins Up 🐬

Mazi Smith, Rodney McGraw and Carlos Washington Jr. are set to make their Miami Dolphins debut Sunday at Minnesota. Smith went 26th overall to Dallas in 2023 and started 17 games for them in 2024. The Jets let him go in August and Miami scooped him up for the practice squad. McGraw is an undrafted rookie out of Western Michigan getting his first NFL snaps. And Washington got cut on cutdown day four years running before making the 53 today, with De'Von Achane out for the year. Yeah, Dallas and the Jets both moved on from Smith. That's exactly why he was sitting there, and Miami gets a look at a former first-rounder without giving anything up. Which one makes the most noise Sunday?
