San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle and defensive end Nick Bosa will both make Wednesday's trip to Australia to play the Los Angeles Rams, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Kittle, who was activated from the physically unable to perform list on Aug. 23, is recovering from a torn right Achilles suffered during the Jan. 11 playoff win against the Philadelphia Eagles. He will make the trip after two positive days of practice and is trending in the right direction to play in the season opener, per sources.

In the days after the injury, Kittle insisted he wouldn't miss much of the 2026 season, if any, in part because the tear happened higher up in his leg, which promotes better blood flow and recovery.
