NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Titans linebacker Cedric Gray has been placed in the NFL's concussion protocol after he was involved in a UTV accident in Tennessee over the weekend.

Gray was the driver of the vehicle and "sustained a concussion and minor injuries," according to a statement from the Titans on Monday. There was no alcohol or reckless driving involved in the incident, a team source told ESPN.

Gray led the Titans with 164 tackles last season after starting 16 games.
